This is a community for New Jersey area writers to get together, network, share their writing-related events, opportunities, and questions! There are very few actual rules here - and you don't have to be from the actual state of NJ to join. If you're from a neighboring state and visit NJ to perform poetry, for example -- you are also welcome. If you used to live in NJ (and somehow managed to escape!) you are also welcome. Post anything writing related here, or just get to know your fellow writers. Do not post advertisements for non-writing related things (ex: Your rating community, your dog's website). You may post your work, things about yourself, whatever. We're pretty mellow. Do not be rude to your fellow writers. Do not troll. Do not start flamewars. And we'll all get along just fine.

Those interested in SF, fantasy, horror, gaming, comics, or collectibles will find lots more events throughout the northeast (not necessarily writing-focussed) at the Dandelion Studios Events Calendar.
